On Thursday, Pierre Vandeputte handed over a cheque for €50,000 to the Teledienst from Menen on behalf of recycling company Galloo. This is the amount the association needed to buy more than a hundred new alarm devices for the elderly and needy in the region. Thanks to this donation, Teledienst Menen can continue to fulfil one of its main objectives after a setback: allowing people to live at home for longer.
