In 2006 Galloo set up business in Hirson (Aisne) in order to resume ferrous metal activities in Hirson. The group is one of the biggest ferrous and non-ferrous metal recycling companies in Western Europe. With its branches in Flanders, Wallonia and northern France, the group is particularly well established in this region.
