Collaboration between SOREN and Galloo in solar panel recycling

This visit was a unique opportunity to highlight:

• That photovoltaic panels not only produce low-carbon energy during their lifecycle, but are also effectively recycled at the end of their life;
• The importance of the work carried out by SOREN and its industrial partners – of which Galloo is proud to be a part – to organise the collection of discarded solar panels, increase the volume of this stream and, ultimately, recycle the panels;
• The advanced technologies deployed by Galloo to maximise the recovery of materials found in photovoltaic panels;
• The contribution to European and French circular economy objectives, particularly regarding the recycling of so-called critical metals.
