1.2 million tonnes of recycled material in 2025

Did you know that in 2025, Galloo recycled the equivalent of 130 Eiffel Towers in steel? That’s one Eiffel Tower every two days!

But we recycle much more than just steel. In 2025, Galloo recycled:

• 952,906 tonnes of ferrous metals
• 137,332 tonnes of non-ferrous metals
• 27,144 tonnes of plastics

Urban mining and circular economy

“Urban mining,” or the recovery of valuable raw materials from end-of-life products, is an essential part of the circular economy, helping to reintroduce resources from consumer goods back into the value chain. Cans from household collection, a broken lawnmower, an old laptop, as well as radiators or aluminium profiles: at Galloo, every material is recycled to become a secondary raw material.
