Galloo Halluin was the very first Galloo site in France, established in 1989, and its 7‑hectare site borders directly on Galloo Menen thanks to the draining of the old branch of the river Lys. Galloo Halluin is one of the five locations equipped with a shredder and a post-shredder installation, an essential step in the recycling of non-ferrous metals.

Galloo Halluin

Galloo Halluin was Galloo’s very first site in France, founded in 1989. Galloo France has since grown into one of the leading recycling companies of ferrous and non-ferrous metals in Europe. Every year, the group processes as much as 1,000,000 tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and 20,000 tonnes of plastics.

Thanks to its location on the banks of the Lys, Galloo Halluin has its own quay for the sustainable transport of scrap by water, good for 200,000 tonnes a year.
