Galloo Vernouillet

Galloo Vernouillet specialises in the sorting and treatment of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), including televisions, monitors, and small household appliances, representing over 17,000 tonnes annually.

In addition to processing, Galloo Vernouillet is actively involved in the purchase and trading of valuable fractions recovered from WEEE, such as electronic circuit boards, cables, and hard drives. This activity aligns with the principles of Urban Mining, the recovery of valuable raw materials and precious metals from discarded electronics.

The dismantling of WEEE requires extensive manual labour. Approximately 80 people are employed at Galloo Vernouillet through the social economy, contributing to both environmental and social impact.

Galloo Vernouillet operates in compliance with the ISO 14001 standard and WEEELABEX guidelines, ensuring high-quality and environmentally responsible processing.
