The Ropswalle site in Menen is one of Galloo’s most advanced locations, featuring state-of-the-art PST (Post Shredder Technology) installations. Using the best available techniques, non-ferrous metals are recycled into pure, renewable raw materials. The recently commissioned Kant West’ installation is among the world’s leaders in the sorting and recycling of aluminium.

Galloo continuously invests in improved techniques for metal recycling. At the Ropswalle site, metals are separated from non-metals and all ferrous metals undergo an advanced recycling process, resulting in pure, renewable raw materials.

The site operates on green electricity generated by solar panels and wind energy, has its own biological water treatment plant, and complies with the strictest emission standards.
